Delete Your Account

If you would like to delete your WATO account and all associated data, you can do so directly within the app or by contacting us.

Option 1 — Delete in the App

  1. Open the WATO app and sign in.
  2. Tap your profile icon to go to Profile & Settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account will be permanently deleted immediately.

Option 2 — Request via Email

If you are unable to access the app, send a deletion request to info@middleman.online. Please include the email address associated with your WATO account. We will process your request within 7 days.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your profile (display name, username, email, profile photo)
  • All trips and travel dates you have entered
  • Your friend connections and overlap history
  • Your community memberships
  • Any messages or chat history
  • Push notification tokens

What May Be Retained

  • Anonymised, aggregated usage data that cannot be linked back to you
  • Records required by law or for fraud prevention purposes (retained for up to 30 days after deletion)
  • Billing records associated with your Stripe subscription (retained as required by financial regulations)
