  • What is MiddleMan?
    MiddleMan is a web-based platform that connects yacht operators with local provisioning suppliers. It allows buyers to submit provisioning lists and receive competitive quotes from reliable vendors, streamlining the provisioning process for both parties.
  • How Does MiddleMan Work?
    It’s simple! Sign up as either a buyer or a supplier and you can start connecting with people in the industry immediately. Buyers submit their provisioning lists through the platform, specifying their requirements and preferences. Local suppliers in the area are notified of the request and can respond with quotes. Once a quote is accepted by the buyer, an order is created, and MiddleMan facilitates communication between the buyer and supplier to fulfil the order.
  • Who Can Use MiddleMan?
    MiddleMan is tailored to everyone involved in the provisioning process, including yacht operators, provisioning companies, and local store owners. Whether you’re looking to source provisions for a yacht trip or expand your client base as a supplier, MiddleMan can help.
  • Where is MiddleMan Avaliable?
    MiddleMan will initially operate in Turkish and Greek regions, however, we are continually expanding our reach to new locations to serve more buyers and suppliers. If you’re interested in using MiddleMan in a specific area, please contact us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
  • How Do I Sign Up For MiddleMan?
    Signing up for MiddleMan is easy! Simply click on the “Buyer” or “Supplier” buttons and follow the prompts to create an account. Once registered, you can start submitting orders as a buyer or offering quotes as a supplier.
  • Are There Any User Fees?
    The only charge for the MiddleMan platform is a service fee of €5 per order per user. We send out an invoice once a month that is payable by EFT.
  • How Do I Pay For My Order?
    Buyers and suppliers will agree upon a payment method before delivery. Ordinarily orders placed by buyers on the MiddleMan platform will need to be paid for in person (by means of cash or card) directly to the supplier. Unless an alternative method is arranged, like an electronic bank transfer.
  • What If I Have a Problem With My Order?
    If you encounter any issues with an order placed through MiddleMan, we encourage you to communicate directly with the supplier to resolve the issue, this can be achieved using the one-to-one in app chat system that is available once an order is placed and up to 24 hours post delivery. MiddleMan is available to assist with mediation if needed, ensuring a satisfactory resolution for all parties involved. Contact us on info@middleman.online
  • Can I Track The Status of My Order?
    Yes, MiddleMan provides tools and features to track the status of orders, including order confirmation and delivery updates, as well as any notifications regarding messages from the supplier . Users can access this information through their MiddleMan account dashboard or via notifications sent through the platform.
  • Can I Provide Feedback?
    MiddleMan values feedback from our users and is always looking for ways to improve. You can provide feedback or suggestions through the app, website, or by contacting our customer support team directly. We are a platform made by yachties, for yachties so any and all feedback is warmly welcomed.
